The Kings' win streak reached five following their 130-112 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday at Golden 1 Center.
While De'Aaron Fox played a significant role in Sacramento's victory, scoring 28 points, the bench did a lot of heavy lifting to ensure the Kings' streak continued.

Davion Mitchell only had six points in 28 minutes of action. Still, coach Mike Brown, who already has helped the team improve defensively, believes the 24-year-old's defense played a significant part in the Kings eventually pulling away from the Spurs for the comfortable victory.
"I just know I needed to bring some energy, because we were kind of down throughout the game, so coach told me to bring energy, so that's what I did ..."We've got a lot of good players on our team, so I just go out there and try and play a role so I can impact the game and get a win," Mitchell told Morgan Ragan and Matt Barnes on "Kings Postgame Live."
"The game changed because of Davion," Brown told reporters postgame. "His defense, especially down the stretch. And that second half was unbelievable.
Brown not only had high praise for Mitchell's defending, but the Kings' coach compared the young guard to a player that reminds him of the former Baylor University product while Brown was on the Warriors' coaching staff.
"Thirty-one years, I think now, and there are only two players that I can think of that when they pick up full court," Brown said. "Nobody wants to dribble up against them. Obviously, we saw that from Davion tonight and then GP2, Gary Payton II; the same thing when he's on the floor. He's picking up full court."
The bench also contributed on offense as Malik Monk (26 points), Trey Lyles (14 points), and Chimezie Metu (10 points) all scored double-digit points for the Kings. Monk had the hot hand going 11-for-19 from the floor and 4-for-9 from 3-point land; meanwhile, Lyles had one of those unforgettable plays with a posterizing dunk.
"We're playing well as a team," Lyles told reporters postgame about what has the Kings' offense clicking. We're playing together. We're making an extra pass. We're finding open guys. We're executing an offense.
"And when you do that, it's easy to score points when you have the talent that we have on the floor and the depth that we have. So that's why."
