The Kings finished the 2019-20 NBA season with a 31-41 record and missed the playoffs for the 14th straight season. They didn't play well in the bubble in Orlando, Fla., leading to a front-office shakeup, with Monte McNair taking over as general manager for Vlade Divac.

While McNair re-signed De'Aaron Fox to a max contract extension, he let Bogdan Bogdanovic leave in restricted free agency. Alex Len and Kent Bazemore also signed elsewhere.
McNair and the Kings are banking on the core of Fox, Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley, Harrison Barnes and Haliburton moving forward. Dec. 11 will be the first chance to get a glimpse of what the team will look like this season.
