With the end of the NBA's moratorium comes a rash of official signings.
After inking Richaun Holmes to a four-year contract earlier on Friday, it was third-year wing Terence Davis' turn to take the pen.
While it's team policy to not reveal contract details, a league source confirmed to NBC Sports California that Davis signed a two-year, $8 million contract to return to Sacramento after coming over at the trade deadline earlier this year from the Toronto Raptors.

"We are excited that Terence will remain a part of the Kings family,” Kings general manager Monte McNair said via the team's official press release. “His combination of scoring, defense, athleticism and energy are integral parts of our team. We are thrilled to see Terence’s continued development in a Kings uniform."

Davis played well in his 27 game audition in Sacramento. He averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 21.5 minutes per game for the Kings after being acquired for a 2021 second round draft pick.
"I’d like to thank Monte and Vivek [Ranadivé] for this incredible opportunity to continue my career in Sacramento," Davis said in the press release. "I can’t wait to get back to work and help this team get back into the playoffs."

The 24-year-old out of Ole Miss plays an aggressive style on both ends of the court and was a difference maker for the Kings down the stretch of the season when both De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton were on the shelf.
Locking him in on a budget two-year deal is another solid move for the Kings in the buildup to the 2021-22 season.
