Harrison Barnes had some fun with Davion Mitchell after the rookie guard led the Kings to a thrilling 121-118 win over the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center on Wednesday.
As March comes to an end, Barnes made sure to keep the madness going after his alma mater North Carolina upset Baylor in the second round of the NCAA tournament on March 19.
The Kings have played five games since then, where Mitchell has scored at least 21 points in all of them.

“He different! Been in his BAG since Baylor lost to dem boys,” Barnes wrote on his Instagram post with a picture of the two.
While the comment section is filled with laughing emojis, Mitchell commented with two thumbs-down emojis to the backhanded compliment.
Barnes played college ball at North Carolina from 2010-2012 before entering the league with the Golden State Warriors in 2012.
Meanwhile, Mitchell hooped at Baylor from 2019-2021. In his rookie season with Sacramento, he is averaging 11.2 points, 3.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 70 games.

Over the past nine games, the 23-year-old is averaging 20.1 points and 5.8 assists as he navigates taking over as playmaker while De’Aaron Fox is out.
And even with little to compete for as the Kings will miss the playoffs for an NBA-record 16th-straight season, Mitchell is taking full advantage of the opportunity that’s right in front of him.

Oh, and if Barnes' boiling hot take is true, Kings fans would hope North Carolina can continue dancing. The Tar Heels (No. 8) have made it to the Final Four where they will take on the Duke Blue Devils (No. 2) on Saturday for a chance to reach the NCAA Championship.
