Harkless has funny reaction to Heat getting swept by Bucks

The reigning Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat were swept out of the first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, and no one enjoyed it more than Kings forward Moe Harkless.

The Kings acquired Harkless and Chris Silva from the Heat on March 25 in exchange for Nemanja Bjelica.

Harkless signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Heat last offseason, and he expected to play a big part in helping Miami get back to the NBA Finals. But injuries hindered his ability to crack Erik Spoelstra's rotation.

In 11 games (three starts) with the Heat, Harkless averaged just 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 11.3 minutes.

After the trade to the Kings, Harkless' numbers spiked to 6.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 24.9 minutes over 26 games (20 starts).

While Harkless, 27, fit in with the Kings, he is an unrestricted free agent this summer, so his time in Sacramento might have been short.

Based on Harkess' feelings towards the Heat in his latest tweet, it might be safe to rule out a return to South Beach this offseason.
