Haliburton fires shot at draft experts after Kings' win

The Kings got the steal of the draft in Tyrese Haliburton. The Iowa State product was expected to be a top-10 pick but slid all the way to Sacramento at No. 12. The Kings wasted no time in gobbling up the talented guard.

The supposed knock on Haliburton was that his jumper might not immediately translate to NBA play. That certainly hasn't been the case through four games. After knocking down 2-of-5 from long distance in the Kings' win Tuesday over the Denver Nuggets, Haliburton now is 8-for-16 on the season from deep.

And hit one from outside the city limits last night.

With the jumper on fire, Haliburton sent a shot across the bow of all the "experts" who doubted his jump shot.

More like TyThreese, am I right?

The Kings were expected to re-enter a rebuilding mode this season after losing Bogdan Bogdanovic for nothing. But Luke Walton's team now is 3-1 after an impressive win over a Nuggets team that was in the Western Conference finals last season.

There's no doubt Haliburton is a big reason why.
