Fox's wife has message for critics as they cut honeymoon short

The grind never stops -- just ask Kings star De'Aaron Fox, who got married earlier this month.

While on his honeymoon, Fox's wife, Recee Caldwell, posted a photo on her Instagram story of the point guard working out in a gym in Italy.

Caldwell also added that the two cut their honeymoon short so that Fox could continue preparing for the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season.

Although athletes should take the time to let their bodies heal and recuperate, seeing Fox putting in extra work in the offseason should be a welcome sight for Kings fans and a message for the haters.

Despite the regular season starting in about two months, the 24-year-old Fox -- Sacramento's de-facto leader -- is setting the tone early. With the Kings looking to break the 16-season playoff drought, it seems as if the team is buying in on doing the work that's needed.

The additions of Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter, Kent Bazemore, Matthew Dellavedova, and Quinn Cook give the Kings the veteran presence they need to offset the inexperience they might have.

As the calendar slowly inches to opening night in the NBA, expect Fox and the rest of the Kings' offseason additions to be ready to put Sacramento back in the playoff picture.
