Fox's NSFW three-word assessment of game-winner vs. Bulls

The Chicago Bulls might have gotten away with a questionable call that tied the game against the Kings late in the fourth quarter, but they, and the many loud and excited fans at United Center, might have forgotten who De’Aaron Fox is.

In return, the Kings All-Star point guard didn’t hesitate to remind them.

“I’m nice. I’m f--king nice,” Fox said after silencing the entire city of Chicago with a game-winning 3-pointer on Wednesday.

Sacramento had a four-point advantage with 15 seconds remaining in the contest. Chicago’s six-time All-Star forward DeMar DeRozan pulled up atop the 3-point line with Kings veteran forward Harrison Barnes locked on him with his hand straight up.

A whistle blew as the shot swished through the net. And-1.

Kings coach Mike Brown challenged the call, but it was an unsuccessful challenge.

DeRozan nailed the extra point at the free-throw line to tie the game up with about eight seconds left. But the Kings have their own Mr. Clutch, too, and that was just too much time for a guy who excels in clutch situations.

The Kings were playing in the first game of a back-to-back, Fox didn’t want to go to overtime. So he took matters into his own hands. Fox brought the ball down the court, let the clock wind down and pulled up behind the arc to seal the 117-114 win

To Fox, he was confident in taking the shot and to his teammates, they weren't the least bit surprised it went in.

"Yeah, obviously, DeMar hit the free throw; he made a lot of big shots for them tonight," Fox told NBC Sports California's Mark Jones and Kayte Christensen on "Kings Postgame Live".

"With the game tied, I mean, there's not a lot of pressure [to make the game-winning shot]. You miss, you go to overtime. But for me, I'm confident in taking any shot at the end of the game."

In clutch situations this season, Fox has 180 points -- the best in the NBA. The league's newly introduced Clutch Player of the Year Award has his name written all over it.
