The Kings have lost nine of their last 11 games, as their chances of making the NBA Play-In Tournament grow slimmer.
However, De’Aaron Fox has been lighting it up for Sacramento and not shown signs of quitting anytime soon.
The Kings' star guard exploded Saturday night in a 134-125 loss to the Utah Jazz, posting a double-double with 41 points and 11 assists.

Fox is averaging 29.1 points per game, with 51 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from 3-point range, since the Kings traded Tyrese Haliburton to Indiana on Feb. 8.
“Obviously, he’s the cornerstone of our franchise,” Kings coach Alvin Gentry told reporters after the game, via The Sacramento Bee. “So, to see him step up like he has, and then to show leadership like he has, and then understand that he’s still a very, very young player.
“I think you can see he’s trying to get better as a leader, trying to get better with his game on the floor and just get better overall. I think he’s playing as good as any guard in the league right now. Unfortunately, that is not translating into wins, but he’s doing everything he can to try to help get us there.”

It’s clear Fox understands his role as a team leader, and he’s certainly done a nice job lately.
