PBT: Kings players want Smart to start Thomas

A source close to Kings players informed ProBasketballTalk.com that "they’ve thrown their hands up trying to figure out Keith Smart."

According to this source, much of the frustration stems from Smart not starting promising guard Isaiah Thomas, who finished seventh in last season's Rookie of the Year voting.

Thomas' rookie season included shooting lines of 47.7/40.6/84.1 while averaging 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.0 turnovers in 31.6 minutes per game in 37 starts. In 22 games to start the 2012-'13 campaign, Thomas is averaging just 9.7 points and two assists in 19 minutes.
