Rookie down. Marvin Bagley III left the Sacramento Kings opening Las Vegas Summer League game early Saturday evening and was seen stretching on the sidelines with head trainer, Pete Youngman.
Following the game, the Kings updated the status of the 19-year-old big. According to the team, he experienced a tweak in his right hip flexor/hip area. He will undergo an MRI on the injury on Monday and has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game against the Clippers and listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s contest against the Grizzlies.
Bagley finished his first game in Vegas with 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in 32 minutes of action. We will have more on the injury following the results of the MRI on Monday.
