SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Kings are taking the cautious approach with Bogdan Bogdanovic. That means limited minutes and no back-to-backs for the 26-year-old coming off a knee injury.
Prior to Friday’s matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Kings made the decision to rest Bogdan for the evening, with the hopes that he’ll suit up Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bogdanovic played a little over 18 minutes Wednesday in his season debut against the Toronto Raptors. After missing the first 10 games of the season, he finished the night with seven points on 3-of-7 shooting and added two rebounds and an assist.

SIGN UP HERE Sacramento is in the middle of a three games in four nights scenario with Sunday being the lone break in the schedule. They’ll host the Lakers on Saturday, followed by another game at home Monday against San Antonio and then a three-day break between games.
By the end of next week, the Kings should have a better grasp on where Bogdanovic is physically and whether he is ready to take on more of a load moving forward.
