BOX SCORE

SACRAMENTO -- The Los Angeles Clippers are no joke. They came into Thursday’s matchup with the Sacramento Kings leading Western Conference with a 14-6 record.

Los Angeles put on an offensive clinic at Golden 1 Center, sending Sacramento to their third straight defeat, this one by a final of 133-121.

Montrezl Harrell overpowered the Kings in the block and Tobias Harris went off from the perimeter to help push the Clippers over the top.

Here are three takeaways as the Kings fell back below the .500 mark on the season at 10-11.

Trouble with the D

The Kings have struggled on the defensive end plenty of times this season, but against the Clippers, they were really bad. It wasn’t quite as horrible as the team’s loss to the Pelicans or the Bucks, but Sacramento allowed Los Angeles to score 133 points on 57 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range.

Los Angeles rarely took a bad a shot. They had the Kings running in circles most of the night and they finished with a 25-to-9 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Super-Sub

Bogdan Bogdanovic started 53 games last season as a rookie and coming into the summer, he was slated next to De’Aaron Fox at the shooting guard spot. A pair of knee issues slowed his progress, but now that he’s healthy, the Serbian-born wing is thriving off the Kings’ bench.

Against LA, he played both the one, two and three on the evening, finishing with 24 points, six assists and four rebounds in the loss. With Buddy Hield finding success as a starter, Bogdanovic seems to be adjusting to a Manu Ginobili type role with the second unit.

Marvin arrives

In the Kings’ lone national TNT game of the season, Marvin Bagley put on a show. The 19-year-old big clearly didn’t fear the moment. He attacked the heart of the Clippers defense to finish with another big outing.

The rookie posted his third double-double of the season, finishing with 18 points to go with 10 rebounds. He left the game in the early fourth quarter with back stiffness and did not return as the game got out of hand.
