Sacramento notched their 26th victory of the season with a 135-113 home win over the Hawks on Wednesday night. For comparison, the Kings didn't win their 26th game last season until Apr. 1.
In fact, the last time the Kings had at least 26 wins before the end of January, you have to go all the way back to 2004-05, Sacramento's last 50-win season.
The Kings haven't won more than 38 games in a single season in 13 years, but Wednesday's victory put them on pace to finish with just under 42 victories. They currently sit two games out of a playoff spot, and will have several players representing Sacramento at All-Star Weekend in Charlotte.
