Ever since the Kings selected De'Aaron Fox with the No. 5 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Kentucky product has been more than just a basketball player. That recently was on display when Fox made a fan's dream come true.
Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kings fan Ryder Solberg, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, wanted one thing to come true: To meet Fox. The 22-year-old point guard was honored, to say the least.
"It's extremely special to me," Fox said in a video posted by the Kings' social media team. "For someone doing what he had to go through ... for all the people in the world that he could have chosen -- with all the celebrities and all the athletes, him picking me out of all the millions of people he could have met, it's definitely a very special feeling."

In the video, Solberg is seen hanging with the Kings at practice, playing video games with Fox and watching a game at Golden 1 Center.
"He's just a super nice guy and very motivational," Solberg said. "I love what he does for the community and how he plays basketball, of course."
