
Sacramento will take the court in their home opener Dec. 26 at Power Balance Pavilion, and they'll be donning a brand new all black jersey.
The Kings unveiled their new alternate jerseys for the 2011-12 season, which they will wear as a part of the first-ever"blackout" game against the Lakers a day after Christmas.
"We are honored to bring the black jersey back to our fans," said Kings senior vice president of broadcasting, news media and brand developmentCraig Amazeen. "It captures the epic feeling of what will be a defining season."

The last time the Kings wore black jerseys was in the 2001-02 season was certainly a defining season. Sacramento finished 61-21, three games better than the second best team in the NBA.
