BOX SCORE

The Sacramento Kings picked up their first road victory of the season Saturday afternoon, outlasting the Orlando Magic for a 97-91 win at the Amway Center.

DeMarcus Cousins returned to the court after a one game suspension and destroyed the Magic’s frontline. The All-Star big stuffed the stat sheet with 29 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and three steals in 40 minutes of action.

Rajon Rondo continued his strong play, finishing with 13 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

Marco Belinelli chipped in 13 points on 3-of-7 shooting and Omri Casspi added an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double in the win.

Tobias Harris burned the Kings for 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field. Evan Fournier scored 17, but shot just 7-for-20 from the field and 3-of-11 from long range. Nikola Vucevic added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic, who dropped to 6-7 on the season.

STANDOUT PERFORMER -- Cousins was a beast. The Magic threw the kitchen sink at the Kings' big, including triple teaming him for plenty of the second half. He took it all in stride and posted another dominant performance.

TURNING POINT -- Sacramento blew the Magic off the court in the final five minutes of the third quarter. The road weary Kings outscored the home team 22-2 to close the quarter, effectively ending the game before the final period began.

INJURY UPDATE -- Rudy Gay missed Saturday’s contest with a strained left shoulder. The 29-year-old forward underwent an MRI in Orlando on Friday and is listed as day-to-day moving forward.

WHAT'S NEXT -- The Kings travel to Charlotte on Monday to take on the Hornets at Time Warner Cable Arena. They are back at it on Wednesday when they face the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
