OAKLAND -- The Warriors all season have had an excess of big men on the roster, and now that depth is coming in handy.
Starting center Zaza Pachulia was diagnosed with a strained right rotator cuff and will be out at least one week, the team announced Wednesday morning.

Pachulia will join primary backup David West on the sideline when the Warriors play host to the Hornets on Wednesday night at Oracle Arena. West is recovering from a non-displaced fracture of his left thumb incurred Jan. 18 against Oklahoma City.
The Warriors are down to six healthy players capable of playing minutes at center: Draymond Green, Damian Jones, Kevon Looney, James Michael McAdoo, JaVale McGee and Anderson Varejao.
Only McGee, Jones and Varejao play exclusively at center.
Though no starter was announced for the game against Charlotte, McGee is the most viable candidate. He has made two previous starts and is, at 7-feet, 270 pounds, best equipped to battle Roy Hibbert, the massive veteran who has been starting in place of the injured Cody Zeller.
