The Warriors held workouts on Friday for six more college players, with Washington State's Klay Thompson and Kansas' Markieff Morris the biggest names there. Both Thompson, a swingman, and Morris, a power forward, could be available when the Warriors select at No. 11 in next Thursday's NBA draft. The Warriors also have the No. 44 pick.STEINMETZ: NBA Mock Draft -- Morris twins headed to Northern California
Thompson is considered one of the best pure shooters in the draft and also has the ability to make a play off the dribble. He is the son of former Los Angeles Laker Mychal Thompson, and for what it's worth, is someone very familiar to Jerry West, whom the Warriors recently hired as an executive board member.Morris is the twin brother of Marcus Morris; both played at Kansas. Markieff Morris is considered more of a true power forward than his brother, Marcus. But Marcus Morris is considered the more versatile player. Still, Markieff Morris shot 42.4 percent from beyond the arc last season for the Jayhawks.Marcus Morris is expected to go higher in the draft than Markieff, who figures to go somewhere between No. 10 and No. 16.
