Wiseman looks special in footage of his first Warriors practice

It was only one practice. But man, oh man, did James Wiseman look good.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and Draymond Green participated in their first practice of Warriors training camp on Monday, as Golden State finally had its full roster for the upcoming season on hand. Wiseman and Green understandably are still getting up to speed, but based on footage of Monday's practice, it shouldn't take them long to do so.

Just see for yourself:

Igniting the fast break. Gobbling up offensive boards. Skying high for a thunderous alley-oop. Warriors fans rightfully should keep their expectations for the 19-year-old rookie in check, but Wiseman isn't exactly making that easy. Golden State believes the sky is the limit for the 7-foot-1, 245-pound center, and it doesn't take long to see why.

A chiseled-down Green looked great as well, and coach Steve Kerr was very glad to have him back. Clearly, the former Defensive Player of the Year is taking it upon himself to help mentor Wiseman, and they potentially could be a deadly combination.

That alley-oop? You better get used to it.

The Warriors and their fans have dealt with more than their fair share of bad news over the last year, including a crushing blow just hours before Wiseman joined the organization. But just based on his first practice, it sure looks like there are bright times ahead.
