Wiseman allowed inside facility to watch Dubs' second practice

Steve Kerr on Monday revealed that James Wiseman had not yet been cleared to participate in training camp.

The Warriors' coach provided an encouraging update Tuesday afternoon.

It sounds like Wiseman -- the No. 2 overall pick in last month's NBA draft -- could be on the practice floor in a matter of days.

"Our coaching staff has been showing him tape the last few days," Kerr said Monday. "He's still getting some homework in between now and the time he'll be able to play again."

"I'm excited for James, but also want to preach caution for everybody not to expect too much too soon," Kerr told the media last week. "He played three college games. He's got a lot of things to learn."

Draymond Green, meanwhile, remains sidelined and was not allowed inside Chase Center to watch practice.
