Is it possible the Warriors use the No. 7 and No. 14 overall picks in this week's draft to trade up several spots?
It always seemed like the chances of that happening were slim.
And based on what Bob Myers told the media Monday afternoon, you definitely should not expect that to come to fruition.

"I think it's going to be tough," Myers said. "Based on conversations, I think it's going to be hard. And I don't say that specific to the Warriors. I just think that's probably the league. I think it's going to be tough.
"But you know, you may be talking about up from us, which is I think a different challenge. Those teams are wanting young players, wanting young stars, and rightly so.
"I guess right now, they seem to be hanging on pretty tight. But we'll see what happens."
It's completely unclear if the Warriors seriously have tried to vault themselves into the top five.

In fact, all the trade buzz surrounding the Dubs has been connected to potentially trading their lottery selections in the effort to acquire an established veteran or star, such as Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.

The draft just is a couple days away, but a lot can change between then and now. And it's possible something major transpires when the Warriors are on the clock at No. 7.
