Why Warriors GM Bob Myers loved watching Chris Mullin most as kid

Warriors general manager Bob Myers is a Bay Area native.

He went to Monte Vista High School in Danville.

The 2015 and 2017 NBA Executive of the Year grew up watching the Warriors.

So who was his favorite player to watch?

“Probably (Chris) Mullin,” Myers recently told Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. “Just the ability to shoot like he did. And the passing ability. Plus being the one consistent guy who was on the team the longest.

"And I got to play against him at open gym at Monte Vista one time.”
