Barack Obama was a guest Thursday on "The Bill Simmons Podcast," and they discussed a bunch of basketball-related topics.
One question thrown at the 44th President of the United States -- is Steph Curry the greatest shooter of all time?
"That's not even a question -- absolutely," Obama answered. "I have not seen anybody who can shoot that way, in as many ways, in as unlikely ways, as consistently as Steph Curry.

"I know Steph well. Everything he does -- it's precise and neat and tight."

Curry and the former President have developed a close friendship over the years, golfing together on several occasions.

When you have that sort of foundation, you can poke fun at each other.
"These world-class athletes, they're like X-Men," Obama explained. "Some of them you can tell are like the Hulk. You're standing next to LeBron [James], you know he's a freak. Stand next to Steph, and he's like one of those guys who has some superpower [where] he takes off his glasses or something.
"You can't see right away, but is just as much of a freak."
Curry in 2015-16 averaged 30.1 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals, while shooting 45.4 percent from deep on 11.2 attempts per game. He made 402 3-pointers in 79 games, and became the only unanimous MVP in NBA history.
Yes, that gives you "freak" status.

And speaking of "freak," here is what Obama had to say about "The Greek Freak."
"I want to see if Giannis [Antetokounmpo] gets a midrange this year," he said. "Everybody's worrying about Giannis getting a 3-point shot. Giannis needs a 12 footer or a 15 footer.
"That's what matters."
