With 6:36 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, Mychal Mulder checked into the game for the first time.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard -- who recently earned the Warriors' 15th and final Opening Night roster spot -- ended up knocking down both of his 3-point attempts, and made a really nice driving reverse layup.
"Mulder was great," Steve Kerr told the media after the game. "I love when guys stay ready and come in and knock down shots after sitting on the bench the whole game. That's not an easy thing to do."

So is it possible Mulder gets a shot at entering some games moving forward before garbage time?
"We don't have a rotation yet. We're still in the very early stages of putting this team together," Kerr explained. "So players will be rewarded when they play well. There is no set rotation right now.

"Mike did a good job and we'll reward him. We'll see what that means but he's gonna play. He's earned the right to be on this team and he belongs in this league."

The Warriors don't have a bunch of guys who have proven they can consistently knock down 3s, and Mulder's best skill is his ability to shoot it from beyond the arc.
So don't be surprised if the 26-year-old checks into the Warriors' game vs the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day at some point in the first half, perhaps even late in the first quarter.
