In an attempt to settle down a volatile situation Tuesday, the Warriors suspended Draymond Green for his action directed at teammate Kevin Durant the previous night.
But one of the Warriors' biggest fans and friend of Green, Mistah FAB, doesn't believe the suspension had the desired effect.
Appearing on Warriors Pregame Live on Thursday before the Rockets game, the Bay Area rapper shared details of his conversation with Draymond since the incident transpired and offered his thoughts on the fallout.

"Sent a text, and just let him know, man, anybody that's had a brother, a friend, a cousin, a teammate, they know sometimes the sibling rivalry," Mistah FAB said. "It goes there in the heat of the moment, competition, your competitive spirit, you flare, you might go off the edge of things, say some things that you wish that you could pull back.
"But as we eluded to earlier... are we penalizing someone for being passionate? And I told Dray, I said, 'Listen man, 'Keep the passion, stay passionate, wasn't anything wrong.' I think the suspension actually escalated and made it more than what it actually was in my eyes. It's nothing more than what has been caught on camera. ... They’re brothers, man."
Green was back in the lineup Thursday night against the Rockets, but coach Steve Kerr hinted that the All-Star power forward would be on a minutes restriction because of lingering effects from a sprained right toe.
