Stop us if you've heard this before, but Draymond Green has a gripe with NBA officiating.
However, he's far from being the only one.
The NBA has seen some questionable calls from officials in the first half of the season, including controversial technical foul calls and ejections. Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is the most recent example, as the two-time NBA All-Star was ejected against the Los Angeles Lakers on March 3 for "language directed at the referee."

According to Green, these calls are only hindering the relationship between the two parties even more. The three-time NBA All-Star, who is no stranger from having some strong disagreements with league officiating, shared his thoughts on the relationship between players and NBA officials Wednesday on 95.7 The Game's "Steiny, Guru and Dibs."
"I think the relationship between players and referees sucks," Green said. "We see that on a nightly basis. So, I don't think that's a surprise to anybody."
Green has his fair share of tiffs with referees, including twice this season alone. In January against the New York Knicks, Green was ejected just before halftime after being charged with his second technical foul, although officials would later admit the foul was a "mistake." The foul was later rescinded by the league, but the damage had been done, and the Warriors would lose the game. A reeling Green called for a possible rule change after.
Green's second double technical and ensuing ejection was a lot more clear cut, after his infamous outburst against the Charlotte Hornets led to a shocking loss in the final seconds.

While Green's previous history with referees probably plays a part in his personal relationship with them, he believes the relationship around the league as an entirety is getting worse.
"The relationship between the referees and the players is really bad," Green added. "I have my thoughts on how it can be rectified. ... [it's] not in a good place right now. Just my opinion."
Green is known around the sport to be a passionate player and his emotion often motivates his teammates, but it has gotten him in trouble as well. That could be why he won't share his beliefs on how it could be fixed, as the three-time NBA champion is already walking a fine line heading into the second half of the season.
