The outpouring of support for Klay Thompson in the wake of his Achilles tear just prior to Warriors training camp was unprecedented, as numerous stars in and out of the sports world sent their best wishes to the 30-year-old.
NBC Sports Bay Area analyst Dorell Wright, who was a teammate of Klay's for the 2011-12 season, told Grant Liffmann about why he's such a fan of Thompson's talent.
"You fall in love with the game because the jumper is just so pretty," Wright said on "Dubs Talk" last week. "We keep bringing up the game he had when he only took 11 dribbles and had 60 points or something like that, that's so crazy to me.

Thompson's injury has cast a cloud over the 2020-21 NBA season for the Warriors, but the team remains confident that it can be among the top teams in the Western Conference following the additions of Kelly Oubre in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Wiseman with the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft.
The Warriors were able to add a Disabled Player Exception as a result of Thompson's injury, but the team is yet to allocate any of that to a specific player.
