Kent Bazemore started his career with the Warriors in 2012, and returned to the franchise last month in free agency.
What is the atmosphere like now compared to eight years ago?
"It's eerie in a sense where there's that sense of anticipation," Bazemore told the media Thursday afternoon. "I think everyone feels there's something on the brink. When I got here in 2012 -- we went to the playoffs -- it was kind of that same feel that something big was about to happen.

There are some media members out there who believe a Klay Thompson-less squad will not be anywhere near the top of the Western Conference this season.
The Athletic's John Hollinger picked the Warriors to finish in 11th, while ESPN's Kevin Pelton has Golden State finishing with the second-fewest wins in the West.

Bazemore certainly believes the Dubs will make the postseason.
"If a guy gets it going, I'm your guy [to stop him]. I'm gonna do what I've been doing to stay around these nine years," he said last week. "Get some rebounds, get some steals, get some blocks, get a couple assists, get a couple corner 3s.
"And smile my way back into the playoffs."
