When it comes to crowd noise, many Warriors fans fondly look back at the days of Oracle Arena where Golden State won its three most recent NBA championships in 2015, ’17 and ’18.
The Warriors are in the midst of their first playoff run since moving to Chase Center in 2019. Steph Curry and company are establishing a winning tradition and rowdy playoff home-court advantage at their new home.
Dallas Mavericks superstar guard Luka Doncic, who is in San Francisco preparing for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, is already impressed with the decibel levels reached by roaring Warriors fans and ranks Chase Center as one of the toughest NBA arenas to play in.

"It’s a loud gym, I’m not going to lie," Doncic said of Chase Center on Tuesday. "I think this one and [Vivint Arena in] Utah honestly have the loudest gyms in the league."
Doncic played two games as a rookie at Oracle Arena but has suited up five times against the Warriors since Chase Center opened in 2019.
In those five contests, Doncic is averaging 29.5 points per game while shooting 41.9 percent from deep.
"It’s sometimes even better to play away games for me," Doncic said. "When you score a basket, everybody’s quiet. Everybody’s booing, and then everybody’s quiet."

"I played in Europe," he said. "I played in Greece, I played in Serbia, I played in Turkey. That’s another level of crowd. It’s loud. You can’t hear the guy next to you."
Warriors fans will try to live up to Doncic's high praise Wednesday night in Game 1. Tune in to NBC Sports Bay Area at 5 p.m. for "Warriors Live: Playoff Edition."
