Steph Curry is averaging 38.9 points over his last eight games, raising his scoring average on the season from 29.0 to 30.7.
He is second in the league behind Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (31.0)
Curry has led the NBA in scoring once in his career, and that was in 2015-16 when he poured in 30.1 points per game.

What did that mean to him at the time? Has he thought about capturing a second scoring crown?
"I haven't. So thank you for bringing that up," the three-time NBA champion said Wednesday night after the Warriors' win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. "You look at your numbers -- you're aware of all that obviously.
"That was cool for sure. You want to check that off the box as something you accomplished. There are so many great scorers in this league, and to do it consistently night after night -- do it the full length of the season -- that does mean something.
"It's not anything you press for really. But maybe I got a shot at it, who knows."

Curry last Friday night at Chase Center scored 32 points against the Wizards, while Beal was held to 20 points.
