This is my 40th year in the NBA as either a general manager, a head coach, an assistant coach, and TV and radio analyst.

I miss the games and the privilege of chatting with our Warriors fans on 95.7 The Game and NBC Sports Bay Area.
I have loved sports since my youth in Chicopee, Massachusetts. We are all creatures of habit. I start my day watching the Today Show at 7 a.m. with Al Roker and Hoda Kotb while studying the NBA box scores, the standings, upcoming games, stories around the league. Then I mix in a few basketball texts and chats on 95.7 and KCBS.

By mid-morning, I’m addressing my wife MJ's honey-do list. By mid-afternoon, I’ll take a break to watch a couple of sports shows, and before you know it's 4 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. That means games start on the East Coast. The games run until about 10 p.m. Then the sand man calls.

If it’s a Warriors game-night, I meet Chris Mullin in Alamo and we drive to Chase Center together, talking basketball all the way in and back. I absolutely love it!!!!
I must admit I enjoy all the sports: Basketball, football, baseball, hockey and soccer ...
My wish and my prayer is for all of us to get back to our normal, regular life. That means we have defeated this terrible coronavirus. The unknown causes fear and anxiety.
PMA: Positive Mental Attitude. We must stay positive and we will win!!! Prayers to all in the Bay Area.
