Kevin Durant was on his way to having a monster game Tuesday night.
The Warriors superstar had scored 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting in just 21 minutes against the Denver Nuggets. But his night ended early.
Durant was ejected early in the third quarter by NBA official Zach Zarba after KD argued that he was fouled while shooting a 3-pointer.

Those were Durant's 14th and 15th technicals of the season, putting him one shy of a league-automated suspension.
The Warriors led by 21 at the time of Durant's ejection, and won 116-102, giving them a two-game lead (and the tiebreaker) over the Nuggets for home-court advantage in the Western Conference playoffs.
