When the Warriors selected Kuminga No. 7 overall in the 2021 NBA Draft, the front office knew he had incredible athleticism in his 6-foot-7 frame. However, not even they could have foreseen just how athletic he would be.
Kuminga routinely put opposing defenders on posters and often had no regard for human life once he was up in the air. His slams were ferocious. To show just how creative he can be in the air, Kuminga routinely hammered down "back-scratcher" and one-handed slams.

The 19-year-old Kuminga is sure to have more posters in the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season. If continues this pace, defenders might choose to avoid contesting his dunk attempts altogether.
If he continues to be a prolific in-game dunker and capitalizes on his immense potential, Kuminga could make for an obvious choice for future NBA Dunk Contest competitions.
