Watch Draymond, Wiseman combine for alley-oop at practice

In their first Warriors practice together at training camp, Draymond Green and James Wiseman connected on a picturesque alley-oop, which hopefully will be the first of many.

The two both got a delayed start to training camp, but took the court for their first practice at Chase Center on Monday.

Neither will play in the team's second preseason game Tuesday in Sacramento against the Kings, but coach Steve Kerr said Monday that he isn't ruling out the two getting some run in the third and final preseason game, which also will be in Sacramento against the Kings on Thursday.

Draymond liked the intensity he saw from the No. 2 overall pick in Monday's practice.

"James was all over the place today, which was great to see," Green told the media Monday afternoon. "His energy was through the roof, which took him out of positions at time -- which I love to see because you can teach positioning, but you can't teach high energy.

"It seems to me as if he's gonna be a sponge. He asks a bunch of questions. You need some answers, that's the right thing to do. It's nothing to be shy about. He's definitely been paying attention."

Wiseman's first opportunity at a regular-season game will come Dec. 22, when he could make his NBA debut against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.
