The Warriors open 2020 with a trip to Minnesota to face the Timberwolves on Thursday night.
Both teams have been banged up all season and have struggled as a result. The Dubs will be without D'Angelo Russell, Willie-Cauley Stein and Kevon Looney, while Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) and Andrew Wiggins (illness) both are questionable for the Timberwolves.
After winning four games in a row to get fans talking about a possible playoff run, the Warriors finished off 2019 with losses to the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs to fall to 9-26. The Timberwolves, meanwhile, have lost 13 of their past 15 games and are cratering toward the Dubs in the bottom of the Western Conference.
