Rotation outlook
Warriors
Because the Nets often go small, that means the likelihood of more playing time for Jordan Bell and Kevon Looney. Bell received more minutes than Jones in New York, and it’s conceivable the same can happen here.
The key for the “small” Warriors will be keeping Ed Davis and Kenneth Faried off the offensive glass. This also could be a game in which rookie Jacob Evans III sees action, largely because of his defensive ability.
Nets
Coach Kenny Atkinson wants a superfast pace and is willing to go 10 or 11 deep if that’s what it takes. The most dangerous shooters off the bench are wings Allen Crabbe and Spencer Dinwiddie. When those two players are joined by either Russell or LeVert, it gives the Nets shooters on all parts of the floor.
Brooklyn is built to make opponents defend. The Warriors understand that and will have to be ready.
