Warriors Twitter reacts to landing No. 7, 14 picks in lottery

The Warriors didn't wind up with their most ideal scenario, but nevertheless will have a pair of early picks in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Warriors Twitter was crossing its fingers for a top-four pick, but had some great reactions as the draft lottery show revealed the order of the first 14 selections.

The seventh overall pick was conveyed to the Warriors by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who sent the protected pick to Golden State as part of the Andrew Wiggins trade.

The Warriors' own pick, unsurprisingly, landed at No. 14 as well.

Picking seventh has worked out favorably for the Warriors in the past, as Steph Curry, Harrison Barnes, and Chris Mullin all were drafted by the franchise in that slot.
