Warriors Twitter reacts to charge on Draymond late in loss

Draymond Green thought he was about to tie the Warriors' game against the Portland Trail Blazers with under five seconds remaining Wednesday night.

Then Blazers star Damian Lillard left Andrew Wiggins, got in front of Green and drew an offensive foul.

Green made the bucket, but it was waved off. So, instead of a tie game with a chance to take the lead at the free-throw line, Portland got possession and went on to beat the Warriors 108-106 at Moda Center.

Green, Kerr and the rest of the Warriors thought a blocking foul should have been called on Lillard and asked for the play to be reviewed, but the referees upheld the call.

It was a controversial ending to a game the Warriors should have and could have won. Now, they head to Phoenix hoping to avoid a three-game losing streak heading into the All-Star break.

Did the refs get it right? We'll find out for sure when the NBA releases its Last Two-Minute Report on Thursday. For now, here's how Warriors and NBA fans reacted to the controversial charge on Green.

Even if the NBA says Thursday that the officials made the wrong call and it should have been a block on Lillard, the Warriors won't feel good. What's done is done. All the Warriors can do is turn their attention to the Suns and hope to go into the All-Star break with a little momentum.
