The Warriors soon are going to get an up-close and personal look at one of the top prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Shortly after Jonathan Kuminga completed a pre-draft workout with the Orlando Magic on Tuesday, he told reporters that the Warriors will be flying to Miami to watch him on the court.

Kuminga for several months was considered a lock to be selected in the top five. But he has started to slip in many mock drafts and could be available when the Warriors are on the clock at No. 7.

"League sources say the [Orlando] Magic are high on Florida State forward Scottie Barnes with the fifth pick, while the [Oklahoma City] Thunder prefer Barnes or UConn guard James Bouknight with the sixth selection," The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor wrote last week.

Kuminga on Tuesday said he has worked out for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors, who hold the third and fourth picks respectively.

The 18-year-old averaged 15.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 assists over 13 games for the NBA G League Ignite last season, while shooting 38.7 percent overall and 24.6 percent from deep.

In his first game against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Feb. 10, he recorded 19 points, four assists and two blocks.

The Congo native is considered somewhat of a project and Golden State very much is in win-now mode.
