Warriors to rest Klay, Draymond, Porter against Heat

The Warriors will be playing shorthanded Wednesday against the Miami Heat.

Golden State is resting Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Otto Porter Jr. on the second night of a back-to-back. The Warriors are already playing without the injured Steph Curry, Andre Iguodala and James Wiseman.

The Heat and the Warriors have the same record at 47-25, but the vibe around both teams is very different. The Heat own the No. 1 seed in the East, while the Warriors are holding onto the No. 3 seed in the West but could tumble even further without Curry in the lineup.

Miami could also be without a few of its best players, as Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo are all listed as questionable on the morning injury report.

It will be up to Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody to generate offense for the Warriors, who have lost 12 of their last 18 games after an inexcusable loss Tuesday to the Orlando Magic.
