Warriors' Steph Curry launches special Under Armour shoes for 32nd birthday

It's your 32nd birthday. You have cake, perhaps a libation, launch your new shoe. Ya know, the usual.

That last one pertains more to Steph Curry, who unveiled his latest Under Armour Curry 7 Pi Day PE which will launch on Saturday, March, 14 -- also known as "Pi Day."

Steph debuts new shoes annually while blowing out birthday candles to celebrate. This time around, he wanted to do something different than the usual bright color-themed kicks.

“Stephen is all about ease of entry with his footwear, and a casual slip-on take of the Curry 7 for his to and from the court movements was something we knew he’d like," John Humphrey, Under Armour's Footwear Design Director, said on the website. "We had the idea while finalizing the Curry 7 and reviewing knit placements for the upper. We thought, what about a full knit collar PE? Something clean, understated for Stephen to wear off-court. We just didn’t know then that he’d like the PE so much that he’d ask us to release it!”

This design was meant to have more of a clean and classic feel, and be enjoyed off the court.

The shoes are all-knit with UA HOVER and Micro G cushioning with a white heel. The first 30 digits in Pi (humblebrag if you're that kid in math class who could recite those) are on the heel tab.

These will sell on the Under Armour website on Saturday as well as UA Brand Houses, select retailers and limited pairs of the PE will be available at the SC30 product wall at the Warriors Shop at Chase Center.
