Warriors provide Draymond update as rehab continues to progress

More encouraging injury news for the Warriors.

With center James Wiseman progressing in his rehab, the Warriors announced Wednesday evening that Draymond Green is also making strides in his recovery from a back injury.

The Warriors released a statement in which they detailed Green's progress and said they are anticipating a return "at some point after the All-Star break."

In the statement, the Warriors mention that Draymond has been doing light activity on the court and will increase his workload moving forward. Golden State's next update will come when Green returns to practice on a date to be determined.

The All-Star forward has missed the Warriors' last 20 games, in which the team has posted a 13-7 record. His return to the court will certainly provide a big boost down the stretch for a team looking to make a run at another NBA championship.
