With just over two weeks until the 2020 NBA Draft finally is here, there still are plenty of questions surrounding the Warriors. Who will they select with the No. 2 overall pick? Will they keep the pick or trade it away?
That's anyone's best guess right now.
The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor released his latest mock draft Tuesday and has the Warriors staying put. He also has Golden State going with a big man instead of a guard or wing. O'Connor gave the Warriors center James Wiseman with the second pick in the draft.

"During the early stages of Wiseman’s NBA career, he could fill the rim-running, rim-protecting role that JaVale McGee played for years, but he’ll hopefully evolve into much more once his shot creation and floor awareness improve."

Wiseman is just as big of a mystery as the Warriors' plan right now. He played just three games as a freshman at Memphis, averaging 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. And two of those games came against South Carolina State and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Those aren't exactly powerhouses.

After scoring 28 points against South Carolina State and 17 against UIC, Wiseman's final game of his extremely short college career came against the Oregon Ducks. The highly-touted freshman scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in an eight-point loss.
Wiseman is 7-foot-1 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan. He would fill a need right away as an athletic big man, and there's reason to believe his game only will grow. Though he has shown some poor shot selection in both college and high school, he does have a smooth-looking jumper for a big man and won't be asked to do too much with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green sharing the court with him.

Wiseman reportedly wants nothing to do with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team that owns the No. 1 pick. There also are reports the Warriors have mixed feelings on Wiseman, but there's no denying his immediate fit. He should be able to help now, and the 19-year-old could progress into the star everyone projected since he was in high school.
Some of the smokescreens will go away, and eventually, we'll know the Warriors' plan with the No. 2 pick. Will it be Wiseman? The wait continues as Nov. 18 nears.
