The Warriors selected Justinian Jessup in the second round of last month's NBA draft, and the No. 51 overall pick made his professional debut Tuesday in Australia's National Basketball League.
Jessup's team -- The Hawks -- lost its preseason opener to the Perth Wildcats, but the 6-foot-7 lefty had a terrific game, racking up 24 points (10-for-19 overall, 4-for-9 on 3s), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in just over 29 minutes.

These highlights show he clearly is more than just a spot-up shooter, as he drilled several nice pull-up jumpers, knocked down a running floater and moved well off the ball.

Jessup averaged 16.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals as a senior at Boise State last season, while shooting nearly 40 percent from deep on 7.7 attempts per game.
The 22-year-old flat out can shoot the rock, but he wants to expand his all-around game.
"I want to keep improving my defense, and my overall toughness," he told ESPN Australia several weeks ago. "I want to just be able to take on any challenge head on. I think, defensively, it's going to be a good year, just to work on that.
"Defensively, you can work on that through working on your body -- just the athleticism -- and then just playing against other good players; like, this whole summer, I was playing against NBA guys, and I think that really helped me.
"Hopefully it's something the Warriors will be encouraged by when they watch the games this year, and something I know I'm gonna need to continue to improve at to have a chance to play in the NBA."
Jessup will be back in action Thursday night.
