The Giannis Antetokounmpo free agency speculation merry-go-round continues to spin.
The latest rumor comes from FS1's Chris Broussard, who says the Warriors are among the teams in the lead to land the reigning NBA MVP.
"I would put Golden State and Miami ahead of Toronto," Broussard said on "First Things First" on Tuesday. "Masai Ujiri, the president of the Raptors, native African like Giannis. There's that connection there. They're an international team.

"Giannis, I don't think has a lot of the same draws that a typical American-born star has, so again, I wouldn't say Toronto has got a great shot, but I definitely wouldn't write it off to the degree that Nick [Wright] does."
As Broussard alluded to, Wright can't see any way Giannis leaves Milwaukee for Toronto.
"If Giannis leaves Milwaukee, it's going to be because the big lights of a major American coastal city draw him," Wright said earlier in the FS1 program, "be it Miami, I don't think the Knicks are ever going to get it together, or a team out in California. He's not going to leave Milwaukee to go to Canada. And I think our friend [NBA commissioner] Adam Silver would absolutely have a fit if he did because while Toronto is a great city, a major metropolitan city, because it's in Canada and the television ratings and all of that doesn't work the way the NBA wants it to.

"I believe Giannis is a Buck for life. I don't think he follows the Lew Alcindor-Kareem path and leave Milwaukee for a bigger market. I think the Bucks make the Finals this year, it's enough for Giannis to re-sign and I think he's a Buck for life. But if he does leave, it ain't going to be to go to Toronto."
The Warriors have been linked to Giannis for a while. He could be their replacement for Kevin Durant.
But acquiring Giannis in a trade with the Bucks won't be easy, and it would be costly. As NBC Sports NBA Insider Tom Haberstroh said over the weekend, the Warriors' salary cap situation likely means they would have to build a package around Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins.
Is Giannis worth breaking up the Splash Bros. and trading away one of the most beloved players in Warriors history? Haberstroh believes it is, but Dub Nation doesn't necessarily agree.
As unlikely as Giannis to the Warriors seems right now considering the cost, it should be noteworthy that an NBA analyst believes they are one of the frontrunners.

The soon-to-resume 2019-20 NBA season could play a big factor in Giannis' future. If the Bucks win the NBA title, he might be inclined to stay. If they fall short, he might force Milwaukee to trade him to a team where he can win a title.
Until then, the merry-go-round will keep spinning. Where it stops, no one knows.
