Warriors guard Jacob Evans diagnosed with concussion, broken nose

Jacob Evans will be sidelined indefinitely.

The Warriors guard suffered a concussion and a broken nose against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

Evans will not return to game action until he clears the NBA's concussion protocol.

Evans was forced to go to the hospital for evaluation.

There is no word yet on how his status might impact guard Ky Bowman, who missed Golden State's last two games as the Warriors seek to preserve the remaining four days on his two-way contract.
