The Warriors wanted to add veterans and shooters to their bench in free agency, and their latest reported addition would capture both of those goals. The Warriors and Nemanja Bjelica have agreed to terms on a one-year contract, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported citing sources.
Bjelica played 37 games between the Kings and Miami Heat in 2020-21, averaging 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds. Although he hit just 31.4 percent of his 3-pointers, Bjelica topped 40 percent over each of the three full seasons prior to last year's pandemic-shortened campaign.

Similar to Monday's reported addition, Otto Porter Jr., Bjelica was rumored to be a player who could sign a midlevel taxpayer exception contract this summer with a team.
Instead, it appears Bjelica wants to join the Warriors and be a contributor on a team hoping to make a championship run.
