Warriors rookie Jordan Poole is a bucket-getter.
That is why Golden State selected him with the No. 28 overall pick in the draft.
"We drafted him for his ability to put the ball in the basket," coach Steve Kerr told reporters after the team's first preseason game.

The 20-year-old made his first career start Monday in New Orleans, and made his coach look smart by knocking down three 3-pointers in the first six minutes of the game.
But he's more than just a scorer. In a recent "House of Highlights" production, fellow Dubs rookie Eric Paschall explained the most underrated aspect of Poole's game.
"I definitely would say his play-making," Paschall said. "Just able to get other people shots. He's a great scorer but just being able to get other people shots off his aggressiveness is great."

What does Poole think about that?
"I don't know if I would consider it underrated," he said. "I'm looking to score first. But it's all off reaction."
When the Michigan product was shown a highlight of a sweet behind-the-back-pass he made during his sophomore year in college, Poole had an explanation.
"This isn't normal for our team. We can't make plays like this. We're supposed to land on two, pivot, find an open person. This is very rare.
"This game I was cooking. I think I was on a roll ... I was going to score and I saw the big man come to help ... it kind of was an instinct thing."

Poole only has three total assists through the Warriors' first three games, but that number will increase as he becomes more and more comfortable.
