The Warriors are running out of healthy hands.

D'Angelo Russell is the latest member of the Warriors to injure a hand as he exited Friday's game against the Celtics in the third quarter with a sprained right thumb.

The Warriors ruled Russell out for the remainder of the game early in the fourth quarter.

After the Warriors lost to the Celtics, 105-100, the team announced that X-rays were negative on Russell's right thumb and that he will undergo an MRI on Saturday.

The injury occurred with just over eight minutes remaining in the third quarter. Russell drove to the basket and had the ball swiped away. On the next defensive possession, he clutched his hand.

During a timeout, Russell had his hand looked at by Warriors trainer Rick Celebrini. Moments later, the two went back to the locker room.
